Nakwan grew up in Wappinger Falls, New York, and Camille in Hamlake, Minnesota. They met at Oakwood University and were engaged after a short courtship. Soon after, Camille served as a student missionary with AFM in The Republic of Guinea, West Africa. When Camille returned to the States, they married. They now have three children: Nicolle, Nathan and Natallie.

Nakwan and Camille have been actively participating in ministry for a long time. Nakwan served as a pastor in the Minnesota Conference for six years while Camille taught in the public and Adventist school systems. They are excited to follow God’s leading as they embark as career missionaries to Japan. They express gratitude for your prayers and support as they share God’s boundless love with those who have not heard the gospel.
