Have you felt called to promote the cause of reaching the unreached?
Advocates represent our ministry in their home church and, when given the opportunity, at neighboring churches by making brief presentations or giving updates on missionaries’ work among the unreached. Additionally, advocates occasionally help coordinate events or work in our booth at events near them.
So, what does it take to be a mission advocate? Similar to the general criteria outlined by the Apostle Paul in 1 Timothy 3:2, an advocate must be of good character and reputation. A reference from a pastor or head elder is required. Additionally, although we all get somewhat nervous when making a presentation in public, an advocate should feel comfortable speaking in front of a church congregation or similar group. Dont worry, we can provide some materials to get you going.
