Short-term missionary from 2021,
serving the Pnong Project.

I’ve been a proud Houstonian for many years now. I graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with a degree in Elementary Education then worked for almost two years as a missionary English teacher in South Korea. Teaching and missions became my passions. Back in Houston, I felt God calling me again during the pandemic, which led me to apply to be a Short-Term Missionary.
I’ve been serving at the Pnong Project for a year now, teaching English and doing teacher trainings. Together, with the support of other SMs and the rest of the team, we also established the first Pathfinder club in the area. I am excited to see what God can do through me on my second year at the project. I am returning to continue to work with Pathfinders as well as the teachers at school. Any donations are welcome, as well as all of your prayers for this project.

An Introvert’s Paradise

First of all, let me say I am living in my personal paradise. It’s been almost two months since I arrived in Cambodia and I’m still amazed at how inherently warm and friendly people are here.
