“A hairy, black, [human-like figure] with claws and red eyes invited me to go with him,” said Aiza, one of the students.

It was a Friday night; my wife and I were at our house when we overheard someone asking for our help because of an emergency. When I arrived at the clinic, Sandra, the nurse, was assisting Mary, a 14-year-old student who lives about forty minutes from the village. Mary seemed to have had seizures after returning home following the week of prayer. I looked at the medical history; they had never practiced witchcraft and had always relied on the clinic, but sometimes, the husband’s family would visit the witch doctor. After providing instructions, we discharged the patient.

The next day, at church, someone told us that some girls from Mary’s village had experienced seizures at the same time, and they were being brought to the clinic.
We started to worry. Sandra mentioned that cases of demonic harassment had occurred in that village, especially when the drums echoed during the night in demonic rituals.
The first girl, Aiza, arrived groaning and shaking. Her eyes were closed. Her vital signs were normal. This was not a simple convulsive episode. Fifteen minutes later, another girl, Divine, arrived conscious but hyperventilating. Tears streamed down her face, showing panic. Medically, this was beyond our scope because we knew this was a spiritual illness. Sandra, Anais and I knelt and began to pray. That was the medication. After a few minutes, the girls began to calm down and then fell asleep; by the afternoon, they recovered.

Aiza told Sandra that before the religious service began the previous day, she had seen a hairy, black [human-like figure] with claws and red eyes saying, “Come with us, come with us!” Then she shouted and fainted. At that moment, the girl named Divine heard a voice whispering, “Scream, cry, faint!”

That afternoon, Mary returned to our clinic, hyperventilating; she had been stiff for four hours. But, within five minutes, she stopped showing symptoms.

At about 6:00 p.m., the three girls were on the clinic porch, talking to their mothers, when Aiza fainted and started shaking. Divine and then Mary immediately began to show the same symptoms as before. Satan was attacking these girls again at the same time. We prayed again and separated the girls, and with the help of other missionaries, we began to worship God and ask for His presence. Later that night, the attack was over. The next day, after everyone prayed together, they were discharged with the instruction to ask for God’s help if they came under attack again.

From time to time, different students come to our clinic with the same symptoms, recounting seeing horrible figures that no one else sees. Please continue praying for these students and families so the Holy Spirit can live in their hearts.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12).
