A Dream of Guidance and the Path to Truth

The following testimony comes from Imad, a seeker on the Dream Project website.

My name is Imad. In my dream, I found myself in a place so bright and peaceful I can’t describe it. It felt like I was standing in another world, a land untouched by time. As I looked around, I saw a man walking toward me. His face was calm, radiant and familiar, as though I had known him my whole life. I immediately realized it was Prophet Isa (Jesus).

My heart raced, and I felt both unworthy and drawn to Him. He smiled gently, putting me at ease. “Peace be with you,” He said, His voice kind and steady.

“Peace be upon you,” I replied, my voice trembling.
He motioned for me to sit with him under a tree with comforting shade. “Do you know why you are here?” He asked.

I shook my head, unsure what to say.

He looked at me with deep compassion. “The time of My return is near, and Allah (God) has chosen to remind His servants of the truth. The world is full of distractions and deceptions, and many have lost their way. But for those who seek the truth, the signs are clear.”

I leaned forward, hanging on to His every word. “What signs?”

He spoke softly, yet His words carried a weight that settled deep in my heart. “You will see chaos in the world—people turning away from faith, injustice becoming widespread, and the earth crying out for justice. These are the signs that the time is close. But know this: My return is not to bring a new message but to bring an end to the suffering in the world.”

I felt a mixture of awe and unease. “How should we prepare for Your coming?”

His eyes met mine. Then He said: “The best way is to follow the truth—not just in words, but in how you live. I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life. Be honest, humble and kind. Worship Allah sincerely, avoid what He has forbidden, and remember that all prophets have spoken about Me. My return is to stand with those who remain steadfast in faith and to call them to eternal life.”

His words resonated deeply, and tears streamed down my face. “But how will I know I am on the right path?” I asked.

He smiled, His expression gentle yet firm. “Your heart will know. When you feel peace in your worship, when your actions reflect the light of Allah’s guidance, and when your love for others stems from sincerity, you are walking the right path. Do not follow Me by name alone. Follow My teaching, submission to Allah and love for His creation.”

“Do not be afraid of the trials to come,” He said. “Hold fast to your faith, trust in Me, and live with integrity. When I return, you will be among those who are saved.”

He raised his hand in a gesture of blessing, and I felt a deep sense of peace wash over me. Then everything faded, and I woke up, tears on my cheeks and a fire in my heart to live as He had taught.

I sat there in the quiet of the morning, feeling closer to Allah than ever before, determined to live by the truth of which He had reminded me.
