No one slept in my sermon today. I always love it when the Holy Spirit takes over and leads along. Today Satan was the chief spider and all his little spiderlettes and we are the fly. And all the little spiderlettes (demons) are working together to catch that fly. And then the man with the stick comes along (Jesus) to twirl up the spider web and stop him from getting the fly. Col 2:15. When Christ is in us we don’t need to be afraid of the spider because the Man with the stick is there keeping the spider webs away. We just need to make sure that we are with the right power and have given ourselves to christ.

All this was not planned. The sermon started with all the kids and I marching around the table which was Jericho and we were the people of Israel and then we had to run around 7 times because otherwise it would take too long to march around 7 times. The reason Israel couldn’t stand against Ai was because they had “stolen something that they weren’t supposed to take” and God couldn’t be with them. Almost all my responses to my questions given by a 9 year old.
