The Great Distribution

Image for The Great Distribution

Members rallied around with copies of The Great Controversy to distribute. It was a special Sabbath. The Benin Conference of Seventh-day Adventists had decided that, this time, churches and groups would visit their local police stations to pass out the books. Their goal was for the Adventist church to become more visible and better understood within the country.

The police in Benin generally enjoy getting religious books. Throughout the Pendjari region, the groups took the books to their local police stations, where the response was very positive. Contacts were made, which were important not only spiritually but also for obtaining permission to conduct Pathfinder programs and campouts, hold evangelistic meetings, and help to resolve any issues that might arise.

The church group from Gouandé visited the local station to thank them for their work and service in an area that is not particularly safe. The police welcomed them and accepted the books. The leaders of the church, along with Fidel, Basile and David, who was on break from the university, talked with the police about the church and the Sabbath. Among the police officers, several who were Christian were very interested in how the Sabbath was changed and promised to visit the church on Sabbath.

Please pray that the books passed throughout the country will produce fruit.
