The Glory of the Lord

During the past 12 weekends, we have driven more than 1,800 miles to nine speaking appointments in four of South Africa’s provinces. We are so blessed by the wonderful people we met and thankful for the doors God is opening in our ministry.

Sometimes God uses angels to perform mission tasks. A few times He even used stones to silently witness, like in Joshua 4:4-9. In Luke 19:40, Jesus said that if His disciples don’t testify, the stones will cry out. But the core of God’s mission plan is to use people like you and like us to carry His gospel to the world. As disciples of Jesus, we must work like He worked. Spiritually and physically, we must feed the hungry, clothe the naked and comfort the oppressed. Then the promise given in Isaiah 58:7, 8 will be fulfilled to us: “Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the Lord shall be thy reward.”

I am blessed to know your history and the way the Lord is treating you two in this advancement of the Gospel Commission. I am a young Christian and am learning great wonders from this AFM site reading such materials of God’s beauty and love. Blessed by your souls in this endeavor for the Unfailing One.
