The devil is angry! He stands to lose many of his captives in a nation where he’s enjoyed a stronghold for centuries. The despair in the hearts of many Albanians will change to joy. Their worry and fear will become peace and contentment.

How do I know this? Well, first of all, God has accomplished this change in me, a former doubter, a former believer in evolution. Second, God has given my family extremely clear evidence that He is calling us to His work in Albania. I trust completely in Him and know that He knows what He’s doing. Third, the enemy of souls has been viciously attacking, trying desperately to turn us back. It would take more than one article to describe the various attacks, but I prefer to speak of God’s mercies, which would fill volumes.

God has turned every battle into a victory. We gain strength and resolve from every encounter. Our Heavenly Father carefully weighs and measures every trial that He allows to touch us. He permits only what will be for our ultimate benefit. Our part is to seek Him in prayer and continually surrender our will to Him. It has been exciting to experience the promise of Romans 8:28, “All things work together for good to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.”

Please persevere, prayer warriors! The battle has only just begun. We are of good courage. We will continue to march forwarded on our knees.
