The time has finally come! It’s so hard to believe that what started as a dream of what may happen someday in the distant future is now reality. I am actually on my way to Thailand! In about 41 hours, I should be arriving in Khon Kaen. One small mercy to be grateful for: one of my suitcases is 51 pounds, but the airline overlooked the extra pound and did not charge me for being overweight.

I am in awe as I look back at how the Lord has led me to this point. From the small desire that was planted in my heart as a small child, to the moment in GYC 2016 when I knew God had called ME to be a missionary, to the evening almost one year ago when God confirmed that call, to the long application process, to the miracles that took place during fundraising, to the incredible training experience, to the visas coming just in the nick of time — all this causes me to be so excited to see what else God is going to do in Thailand for this next year.
