Calling all prayer warriors! You are urgently needed for an essential mission! AFM missionaries are going behind enemy lines all over the world, and they need dedicated men and women who understand the serious nature of this warfare.

We depend upon soldiers who realize that this is a spiritual battle and will wield the power of prayer to tear down enemy strongholds. Don’t underestimate the value of these support troops. Satan trembles when they pray. In Exodus 17:8-13, we find Joshua fighting against the Amalekites with the prayer support of Moses, Aaron, and Hur. When the weary arms of Moses finally fell, the enemy began to crush Israel, but as Aaron and Hur supported and raised their leader’s arms, the battle turned, and Israel prevailed.

Our war isn’t against flesh and blood, but it’s very real—the greatest of all wars. If you claim Christ as your Savior, then you have enlisted in His army, and every soldier has a mission. Fellow soldier, your mission is to go make disciples of all peoples of the earth (Matt. 28:19). You may be called to the front lines like Joshua or to be a support trooper like Moses, Aaron, and Hur. Either way, you are important to the mission.

It’s not over yet, noble warrior, so give your best for Him who gave everything for you. What an honor to be able to say with your last breath, “I’ve fought the good fight!”
