AFM has been working with the Northern Khmer of Thailand since 2003. We are working with Christopher and Shannon Sorensen with the Northern Khmer people. We are helping with fellowship evangelism, discipling and training the Northern Khmer believers to be leaders in the church. We look forward to following the Holy Spirit’s leading in raising up a growing, thriving Northern Khmer church that seeks to reach more Northern Khmer with the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ. We have recently transitioned into the Central Thai project team.
We long to be in Surin among the Northern Khmer. But, while Robbie studies Thai, we want to witness to our neighbors here, too.

Most people live in fear of something. Fear of death, fear of heights, fear of spiders. I have a fear of strange dogs. I was attacked years ago, and since then I have distrusted dogs I dont know.

I pray that the small interaction I had with Maay will leave an impression for good. I pray that the words I spoke and my actions will cause her to inquire about the God of heaven.

We know that one prayer of faith to Jesus is more powerful than a million prayers to any false god. We are so thankful for all the faithful prayers being lifted up for the people of Thailand.
