Bo and Kristin Hutchison, with their children, Jayson (17), Jaymi (14), Jayden (12) and Joel (8), are currently serving the Great River People of Cambodia through medical missionary work. They run two clinics and have two small church groups
The Great River People are a Muslim minority in Southeast Asia. At one time they ruled the Kingdom of Champa that covered a large part of southeast Asia. After much persecution over the years they have no dwindled down to a small minority. Because their religion and ethnicity is different from that of the Buddhist Khmer the Great River People were hit the hardest during Pol Pot’s regime. They were almost annihilated along with their writings and history.
Thankfully, the Great River People are doing much better now as far as persecution is concerned, but they still have the daily struggle of wondering if they have enough “merit” to make it to heaven. We feel so privileged to be able to bring them the good news of salvation through faith in Jesus. Will you join us in reaching the Great River People for Christ?
We look forward to seeing God continue to open doors so that people previously untouched by His grace will have their hearts melted by His great love for them.

I am praying that, as the Great River People hear the life-giving message of the Gospel, they, too, will choose not to be silent Christians.

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus” (1 Thes. 5:16-18).
