Let the stories of missionaries featured in this magazine inspire you. They are on the frontlines of faith, often in difficult and dangerous places. Further, AFM missionaries need your prayers. They don’t just appreciate them—they depend on them. Your prayers are a lifeline to them that, simultaneously,  deepens your own connection with God.

As you read these stories, allow your heart to break for what breaks the heart of God. We urge you to let the prayer requests sprinkled throughout this magazine move you to intercede on the missionaries’ behalf, trusting that your prayers are powerful and effective (James 5:16). Missionaries may be reaching distant lands, but through your prayers, you are partnering with them in the most intimate and meaningful way possible.
