We are in a spiritual battle right now and need you to pray!” (Baur p. 18).

Yes, each person is engaged in a spiritual battle. Sides are being taken, and God’s character, His law of love, is the dividing line.

On one side, our adversary, the devil, walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8) through spiritual harassment and manifestations, indebtedness to gods who cause people to live in fear, never-ending rituals, and innumerable diseases and even death.

On the other side, the Prince of Peace, our Advocate and the Atoning Sacrifice for our sins, our Deliverer, authors salvation and life.

Alongside each commander, a vast host of angels array, some fallen and others who have held true to their first estate . . . plus every human life since Adam and Eve.
The great controversy is not yet over. The conflict is growing more intense. Jesus’ call to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20) remains the same, but we must have greater urgency.

AFM missionaries have responded to Jesus’ call, becoming frontline workers in sharing the gospel, proclaiming deliverance to the captives, setting at liberty those who are oppressed (Luke 4:18) and breaking down barriers of mistrust through their kindness.

With each victory that God brings, the battle rages as the devil counters, even taking the life of our beloved AFM missionary Fred Coker through a tragic accident on March 26, 2025 (Coleman p 4).

A soldier of Christ has fallen. Will you join God’s ranks and lift high the embattled standard? There is no time for delay. The great controversy is not yet over, and your frontline help is needed more than ever.

Pray. Give. GO!
