AFM Home Office Temporary Operations

The AFM office building is closed in accordance with the Michigan “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order, directing all Michigan businesses and operations to temporarily suspend in-person operations that are not necessary to sustain or protect life. AFM offices will be closed indefinitely until the Michigan governor authorizes us to re-open.

How to Contact Us

While our offices are locked, AFM office staff will be working from home, and you may contact any of our employees via email or phone, and you may also donate by phone at 269-332-4952.  All calls to staff members or for donations will be routed through this number.

AFM COVID-19 Notice

As the COVID-19 outbreak spreads globally, AFM is maintaining constant vigilance. We are monitoring all our mission projects and staff members and tailoring our response moment by moment to minimize risk of AFM personnel contracting COVID-19 and of becoming vectors for the spread of the virus within vulnerable communities. Just before international travel restrictions were implemented we provided the option for all field personnel (career, student, and short term missionaries) to return to their home countries. While a few student missionaries did return, the rest chose to stay in the field.

As COVID-19 spreads across the USA, employers are putting travel restrictions in place to better protect their local communities. Within our own ministry, we are seeking to act in a responsible manner that upholds Matthew 7:12, the Golden Rule. We have enacted strict international, public transportation and air-travel restrictions for all AFM employees until further notice.

We welcome your prayers for our missionaries, our staff, and the unreached communities we serve. We are praying for God to bring healing to the sick and to stop the further spread of COVID-19. To maintain security for our projects in sensitive areas, we will not be able to answer specific questions about these projects.

“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you” (Psalm 5:11).
