I received final confirmation this morning that the R 80, 000 I need to fly out to the mission field is full and complete. My heart is full of joyful praise and thanks giving because to me it is a miracle the way God provided the last amount of R 30, 000 through one of His children who does not know who I am… thousands of kilometers away in the USA. Who through God’s providence goes on the AFM website and donates this huge amount of money…truly we serve an awesome God
THANK YOU FATHER …IN YOU we have our beginning and our end therefore everything in between is also IN YOU!
A big thank you to each one of you that gave money, together we will rejoice in the Kingdom of God when you meet the people that are there because of your mission work.Again I’m waiting as God is preparing me to be ready to leave for the mission field …this time it is a different kind of waiting… we are waiting for my daughter’s baby girl to be born in May. The realization of a new life coming from the hand of God… is opening another door in my understanding of the beauty and care of God’s love…
A new life…a baby…another piece of God’s heart…made in His image is nearly ready to enter into this world…and my heart quivers as I wonder what will she find in this world?
But then my quivering heart settles as I focus on God who I know through experience is the fountain of other centered love…clearly I hear a quite gentle voice speaking to my heart… one of many divine promises…be at peace My child for I who have begun a good work in her will continue to do so until I come back to take her home…trust me put her in My hands and leave her there…while you love her with My other centered love… that I give in abundance to all who ask for it and live in it
I find my heart reacting on this promise of God with Psalm 139 verses 23 and 24…not just for myself… but for our new baby girl and for this world lost in selfishness.
Father please search our hearts and test us so that in and through You testing us, we may know ourselves…our thoughts our feelings as You know them.
Father please show us what wrong and wicked ways…what self-centered ways are in us…and then take us by our heart and our hand and guide us…lead us in and on the way you want us to walk…in Your pathway of other centered love.
My prayer request to you: please pray with me for the people of Guinea and surrounding countries as they fight the Ebola Virus!
