Historically, most evangelistic efforts in Thailand have proved unfruitful. However, this group of dedicated missionaries aims, in God’s power, to change that dynamic with a brand new approach. Please pray for them and support them as they enter into this joint effort for God’s glory.

Kyle and Cindi Tumberg (p. 14)—Kyle’s training and experience in Bible work has enabled him to hit the ground running in his efforts to reach and disciple new believers. Kyle dreams of working with the student population on the university campuses in Khon Kaen. Cindi helps with organization and keeps track of finances for the various outreach activities.

Ricardo and Alicia Palacios (p. 16)—As team leader, Ricardo coordinates the team efforts. An experienced pastor, church planter and administrator, Ricardo uses visionary leadership to bring the team together and build a working environment that values each person and models how a Christian community should work. Ricardo and Alicia have already helped move the project forward by helping establish a music school.

Chris and Shannon Sorensen (p. 18)—Chris and Shannon have been working in Thailand for more than 10 years now, and they have lots of experience and ability with Thai language and culture. Chris’s working relationship with the Thai Adventist Mission has been crucial in achieving a cooperative agreement for our work in Khon Kaen. His talent and background in music make him a natural fit for developing Thai worship music and materials.

Daniëlle K. (p. 20)—With her Ph.D. in anthropology, Daniëlle is well equipped to help our team gain deeper insights into Thai culture. She is developing approaches to sharing the Gospel with Thai Buddhists. Daniëlle’s training, personality and language skills give her a unique ability to connect with people in meaningful ways.

Robbie and Kelli Doss (p. 21)—Robbie has a vision for leading people to a more healthful way of living. His talents in food preparation have already yielded delicious bread, tasty jam with significantly less sugar, and other healthful foods that we trust will prove attractive to Thai people. His goal is to develop a center for health promotion in Khon Kaen.

Danny and Sheany Pung—Joining our team of expatriate workers, the Pungs bring years of experience with teaching music and the gift of affirmation. As Thai nationals and cultural insiders, their abilities and strengths have already been an amazing blessing to the team.

Student Missionaries—Each year, a student missionary joins the Palacios family. Their primary assignment is to help Gabriel and Daniel with their home-school curriculum. Also, there are many other opportunities to help move the project forward. This year, Jessica has forged new relationships with university students. As she befriends them, they are drawn into the influence of the rest of the team.

Greetings.
We are Seventh-day Adventists living in Cape Town, South Africa. Our family will be visiting *****et for a short vacation from April 22 this year. Would you kindly furnish us with any information with regard to a local church there, and if there are any missionaries we could meet and share Sabbath with?
Thank you so much.
Beryl.
