Do you like riddles? I am not very good at solving them however in order to share something our team experienced this past weekend I thought it best to pose it that way. Here is a riddle to solve…..what is green all over, sandy, physically taxing and strengthening, mentally exhausting and exhilarating, spiritually refining and transforming, emotionally draining and renewing, scorching and refreshing, hungering and satisfying? The answer is the Crucible. It is a weekend designed to give us a small taste of what the mission field overseas holds for us. By the end we were rejoicing in our team and how God was leading us! No pictures could adequately describe all that took place so I will leave it to your imagination as you ponder the riddle. Through it all Romans 12:2 was happening….be transformed through the renewing of your mind. Praise God for creating and recreating us as we need!
