Eddi is well known in this town as an honest and humble man who deeply loves his family. Now he will also be known as a man who loves God.

We met Eddi about two years ago while helping teach an English class. Though he had almost no knowledge of English, he quickly improved through diligent study. Soon he became our trusted friend and asked if he could join us for Sabbath worship. We readily agreed, and he has proven to be an avid Bible student as well.

On a rainy June day down at the river, God took the clouds away and allowed the sun to shine just in time for Eddi to become our brother through baptism. Hallelujah! Later that Sabbath, his wife publicly declared her desire to be baptized as well. Then, yet another family also decided to follow Jesus. What a blessing-filled Sabbath!

God is growing this small flock in a powerful way. May He be glorified! Please join us in praying for Eddi, his wife, our group and all other believers in Albania that God will nurture and sustain them and fill them to overflowing with the Holy Spirit so they will share the Good News with their fellow Albanians.
