You have longed for sweet peace,
And for faith to increase,
And have earnestly, fervently prayed,
But you cannot have rest,
Or be perfectly blest,
Until all on the altar is laid.
This old song asks if you have put your all on the altar. As we get ready to go to work among the Ama of Papua New Guinea, the question comes to us as well. Have we truly yielded everything to God?
The Ama people are facing dramatic changes. In three years, a road will be built right through their territory. While this will bring some benefits, we fear it will bring undesirable elements and influences as well.
The time is short to reach the Ama and the tribes nearby. Our teammates eagerly await our arrival. Together, we are striving to lay our all on the altar so that these dear people can have the chance to learn about Jesus and develop a personal relationship with our Lord. Is our all on the altar, so that Christ can use us fully?
Is your all on the altar? Have you yielded to Him your wishes, your plans, your life? As you join us in praying for the Ama, is God calling you to join our monthly support team? Our desire is to be fully funded before training starts next year so that soon after training we can launch to Papua New Guinea. Prayerfully consider becoming part of our support team and giving your means to help reach the Ama for Christ.
