Free to Soar!

No fear! I’m finally free to soar! I have experienced the realty of the statement, “God’s biddings are our enablings.”

It happened through the Summer Institute of Frontier Missions. I was once held in bondage by my fears, especially my phobias of heights and public speaking, but now I am free to climb a four-story wall and then rappel down it, to jump off a high platform and be caught by a 350-foot zip line, and to speak to an audience of over 1,000 people without fear. God has liberated me from my prison of terror. He has touched me, healed me, and blessed me through the ministry of His servants. Now my strong desire is for Him to use me to bless and unbind the people He has called us to touch, the Tosks of Albania.

Albania is Shqiperia in the native tongue, meaning land of the eagles. The Albanian people are Shqiptar or children of the eagle. Yet, sadly, the hearts of the Albanian people today are not free to fly. They are trapped in cages of despair, fear, and hopelessness. It breaks God’s heart to see His Albanian children suffer this degradation of captivity at the hands of the evil one. He created these people to be noble and free, and He plans to release them and teach them to soar heavenward.

My heart yearns to be part of that rescue mission, does yours? The only thing keeping our family from going to Albania tomorrow is our need for monthly support. God is calling His people to commit financially to His work of bringing the gospel to all nations. Listen. Do you hear? Is He calling you?
