Praise the Lord! Thanks to God working through David and Cindy White, things are being prepared for us at the other end in Papua New Guinea. Not only will we have temporary housing while we build our permanent house, but our vehicle is being readied, too—a canoe carved from a single rosewood tree. With canoeing and walking being the main modes of transportation, living in the floodplains around the Aramia River will bring its own unique challenges and delights. We will tell you more about it when we get there.

Our faith in God is confirmed as we see mountains that once loomed before us being moved out of the way like anthills in front of a dozer blade. In John 14, Jesus tells us that He is preparing a place for us. Isn’t it great having Someone working for us right now at the heavenly end? This is good news that we Christians must share with the world. We are all invited to participate in the greatest work there is—rescue the perishing. Will you answer the call?
