“There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works in all” (1 Cor. 12:4-6).

As the summer draws to a close, so does one of my favorite sports of summer—baseball. Believe it or not, as I look at baseball, I can see some parallels with what it takes to be successful in missions. Though attention often focuses on individual players, success always requires a team effort. The Owner is the head of the organization. Everyone looks to Him for guidance and direction, and He provides His team with all it needs. We look forward to introducing our Owner to the Northern Khmer of Thailand. Other members of the team include the management and coaches who, under the direction of the Owner, train and organize the players. We are very grateful for the fans who support and encourage the players and coaches through triumphs and failures. Without one of these members, the team would not be able to accomplish its mission.

As we prepare for an extended road trip, we invite you to join our team. Make a commitment and become a season-ticket holder. Our Owner assures us it is going to be a great season. Play Ball!
