Appreciation
Thank you so much for your generous gift.
We had sold our previous bike to a friend who needed it, and with a growing family, we needed a little bigger/stronger bike. So with your help, we were able to buy a used 2016 Honda Airblade, 125cc. It fits the 4 of us quite well as you can see! With 5 year old Esau in the front, and 2.5 year old Essie in between daddy and mommy, we are able to go shopping, visit church members as far as an hour away, take camping trips to the mountains, and zip around town, to the market, in comfort.
We really appreciate your generosity in helping us buy such a nice, new bike. The newer model has a hands-free smartkey remote that can automatically unlock the bike, so daddy won’t have to worry about misplacing or losing his keys anymore! And the brakes are very quiet, the suspension is very smooth on those potholes (which they have a lot of here). We appreciate your thoughtfulness, and we will put the bike to good use in our ministry here in Dragon City!
God bless you!

Original Proposal
Project #2: A Motorcycle to bring spiritual Joys to a closed country: $1,400
Project status: Completed
The Joys are both former student missionaries. Mr. Joy has a degree in theology and spent several years in the US as a young pastor. The couple have two children and currently serve in a “closed” country. This means for political or security reasons, we are unable to divulge much about them. Even their names have had to be changed.
While Mrs. Joy raises their children and witnesses to her neighbors, Mr. Joy serves people further away and engages in discipleship activity in a health-oriented Center Of Influence (COI). He is requesting $1400 for a motorcycle for family needs and to increase his ability to visit in the homes of people he meets through the COI. Thank you!
