Doménica Thur de Koos Mancheno

AFM – South America, short-term missionary serving the Pnong people of Cambodia for 2025.

I was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador. Growing up, I always wanted to have a relationship with God. When I was 11, I met Him through church and decided to be baptized. Since then, I’ve been serving Him in every way I can.

In 2016, I went on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and realized I wanted to be a missionary. After graduating from college, I began looking for opportunities to serve in another country, and God guided me to AFM. After I applied, I felt God’s calling with even greater clarity and saw how He began to open doors for this dream to become a reality.

Christ lived a life of service, and that’s what I aspire to achieve. This is why I feel God’s call to serve in the Pnong project. I am called to reflect Jesus’s light to those who need it most, and I am willing to fulfill this mission. I am excited to go to Cambodia and help the Pnong people encounter Christ and His gospel.

We are all invited to participate in this mission. Through donations and prayers, we can also fulfill the purpose that God has for us and help reach those the gospel hasn’t yet reached. Would you like to be part of this great mission?
