Thank You!

To my dear AFM family, including donors, missionaries and office colleagues: It is with deep regret I am sharing the news that, after much prayer and deliberation, I decided to step aside from my leadership role at AFM, effective March 31, 2025.

God brought my family and me to AFM in August 2011 in a providential manner. His leading was clear, miraculous and unmistakable. Since then, He has blessed our ministry in countless ways. By His grace, through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit combined with the sacrificial giving of donors, the faithful prayers of our supporters, and the holy boldness of our missionaries, precious souls have been won and congregations planted all around the world among the unreached. Genuine church-planting movements are thriving in the Philippines, Guinea and Cambodia, and the everlasting gospel is now preached among unreached people groups such as the Greenlanders of Greenland and the Fulani Muslims of Central Africa.

New missionary recruiting offices are now functioning in Romania (for the EU), in South Africa, and in Brazil (for Latin America). These offices have now more than doubled the number of missionaries serving among the unreached and have given us incredible flexibility in building highly functional teams. These new teams have more language skills and cultural insight than ever before.

Perhaps the greatest privilege in AFM has been following where Jesus is already at work. The Dream Project reaches out to Muslims who have had dreams and visions of Jesus, leading them to become His disciples. The Set Free in Christ Institute is the only deliverance ministry program in the worldwide SDA Church, and victory only comes in the presence, power and name of Jesus Christ. In both these projects, Jesus goes before us! We are completely dependent upon Him. The demands on these projects are overwhelming, for Jesus is seeking to save as many lost souls as possible before He returns. My special plea to any donor thinking of supporting AFM is to include the Dream Project and the Set Free in Christ Institute in your support.

Despite the many weekends away from home preaching in the USA or months overseas every year, my family and I have been immensely blessed over these years, and I trust that we, in turn, have been able to impart some blessing through our service. A particular joy has been to visit with donors every weekend, sharing fellowship in your homes and learning from one another. My family and I will cherish the friendships and memories made, and we will remain both your friends and committed supporters of AFM missionaries in the coming years.

Yet there is a time in life for everything, and now is the time for me to step aside, to make way for fresh leadership to build on the accomplishments of these years together, and to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit into a new chapter of ministry.

Such times of transition are never easy. In these moments, we need the assurance of God’s presence. And so I leave you with God’s promises to Joshua that have carried me through each day of ministry at AFM, and which I pray will strengthen each of us in the days ahead: “I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go” (Joshua 1:9).

So, thank you, one and all, for the warm welcome and trust you have afforded me and my family since 2011. It has been a humbling and awe-inspiring adventure with God. I am convinced, having seen God at work in so many miraculous ways, that we will see miraculous movements of God in the earth’s final hours like we never dreamt possible! Oh the privilege of being alive to participate in the Latter Rain movements of God! God has worked in incredible ways. I am excited to see how He is going to lead in the coming months.

Until Jesus returns, may we each be found faithful in whatever portion of the vineyard God has called us to serve. Your friend in His service, Conrad.
