We praise God for the decades of friendship and service that marked the life of Martin Fishell.
From the earliest days of AFM’s beginnings, Martin was encouraging and involved. At the first AFM board meeting, Martin was elected treasurer. After serving in that capacity for many years, he created AFM’s planned-giving ministry, rounding out 20 years of service to AFM.
We look forward to the day when Christ will awaken Martin from his sleep, and Martin will see the fruits of his ministry: “. . . a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Rev. 7:9, 10).
