Jonathan Marcus Wright was born on March 27, 2015 at 2:13 p.m. He weighed in at 7.7 pounds and was 19.7 inches long. He was delivered at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. Tonya’s doctor did an excellent job, and we were very impressed with the care Tonya received from the nursing staff.

We stayed in Bangkok for a few days after the delivery, and then we drove 380 miles back to Ubon Ratchathani. We did the trip in two days, and Jon Marc didn’t fuss too much on the way. His older brother Justus is very excited about the new baby in the house.

Jared’s parents, Grandpa Joe and Grandma Teresa, came to stay with us for a month in April, which was a big help. We’re hoping Tonya’s parents, Grandpa Rich and Grandma Patsy, will get to come and meet Jon Marc very soon.

We are so happy and blessed to have Jon Marc in our lives. It is our hope and prayer that he will be a missionary who points people to Jesus.
