Sergo Namoradze

Sergo was born to a family of musicians and holds a professional degree in clarinet performance. He and his wife, Shorena, hail from the country of Georgia. They were raised during the times of the Soviet Union and witnessed life after its dissolution and the ensuing regional and civil wars. Upon conversion, Sergo became a pastor/church planter and earned two master’s degrees — religion and philosophy, and later a Ph.D. in religion (intercultural studies). Sergo worked as a professor at UATI (Ukrainian Adventist Theological Institution) and currently teaches classes as an adjunct professor at Andrews University. Sergo speaks five languages and is passionate about qualitative research. He enjoys working with AFM assisting missionaries in their cultural studies. He and Shorena have been gifted with two lovely children — Dodona and Luka.
