Social Media Coordinator

While the Type of Call listed above states this is a short-term/volunteer position, this is indeed a PART-TIME hourly position.

ADVENTIST FRONTIER MISSIONS (AFM) is seeking a part-time Social Media Coordinator to build relationships with supporters, donors and missionaries through the creation and management of the social media strategy and content for AFM.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to the establishment of SDA church-planting movements among unreached people groups around the world.
Duties include using metrics to develop and maintain AFM’s social media strategy, campaigns and content calendar; writing, editing and posting social media content across major social media platforms; protecting the AFM brand; coaching missionaries on how to use social media; and managing a unified strategy across multiple departments.

Must be a Seventh-day Adventist in regular standing. Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, social media relations, journalism, English, or a related field is preferred, but expertise will be taken into account. Must have experience using social media platforms for PR and marketing and possess a creative eye for making attractive ads and posts. Proficiency in MS Office and project management highly desired.

This position is currently open. The job offers 18-20 hours per week.
