The Call

EUDa01-1 Friendship Evangelist/Publishing Assistant, Turkey – Assist with website management, video recording and editing, book cover designing, etc. Must know how to use Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign… May choose to live in a dormitory setting for language learning and to form friendships with university students. Must attend school 5 hrs/day. Help with English SS class, etc. as needed. Large city, Muslim environment.

The People

Modern Turks are composed of Muslims and Secularists. Many of them have little more than cultural identity with an Islamic worldview. Two predominant traits of the Turkish people are hospitality and close family relations.

The Project

Several missionary families have started a work that includes a publishing house and a small church of about a dozen native SDAs, but there are still over 70 million Turks who need to hear the Good News presented throughout the 487,550 square miles of their country.
