Many in Papua New Guinea live a mix of Christianity and animism. The people live primitively, are hunter/gatherers, and are friendly and eager to welcome visitors.
The AFM Missionary family who has been working here for more than 8 years is seeking to build a structure among new believers that will help disciple their young people to solid Christianity. The goal is to establish 1-3 Pathfinder programs and to train adult leaders to start and run clubs in different villages, adapting the Pathfinder program to meet the cultural and spiritual needs of the Gogodala young people to equip them with life skills as well as skills to study the Bible and witness to others. To learn more, view the project page for Gogodala
