A Taste of Georgia

At the Rustenburg Seventh-day Adventist Church, we asked the youth to take part in our “Suitcase Presentation,” an interactive demonstration about the needs of the unreached to help people see the big picture of how lost the world is.

Also, we asked some of the ladies to make a few vegetarian traditional Georgian foods, and it was so much fun! Everyone got to taste some of the food, and they were impressed. If you would like a cooking challenge and want to know how Georgian food tastes, Google the names of these foods and follow the recipes: Ajapsandali, Baked mushrooms with Sulguni cheese, Khachapuri. The taste is phenomenal! If you can’t get some of the ingredients, use your imagination to find substitutes. It is a nice way to have a Georgian Sabbath. I hope you enjoy your Georgian food as we have!
