Psalm23 For Those Who Do Not Know the Sheperd

For those who have never had a chance to know the Shepherd, the 23rd Psalm reads significantly different. Please join us in praying that the Holy Spirit will speak to those He is calling to find the lost sheep.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
I have no shepherd; I am desperately in want and need.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
I lie down surrounded by filth; I have no rest. The waters storm and rage all about me.
He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.
My anxious soul is filled with dread; I travel paths of darkness because no one has guided me to the Light.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Yea, I approach the valley of the shadow of death engulfed in evil; I am all alone. Fear and despair torment me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
My enemies mock me as I starve; my wounds seem incurable; my cup is overturned and empty.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life . . .
Sadly guilt and shame consume my thoughts throughout my miserable days.
. . . and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Am I destined for hell? Won’t someone please help me!

The Holy Spirit is calling for compassionate disciples to go to those who have never heard the voice of the Shepherd. People Christ died for are living in the land of the shadow of death waiting to hear good news. Please go and let them know the Shepherd loves them. Tell them that there is hope. They can join us in the house of the Lord forever.

Please allow us to help you find your green pastures and still waters in mission service.
