Think of the signs of fall—the echelons of waterfowl passing overhead, the changing leaves—and you’ll have a pretty good picture of AFM right now. We are a microcosm of fall.

Here at the AFM office, flocks of missionaries passed through as they wrapped up their summer furloughs. We have gathered around them on our knees, laid our hands on them, prayed God’s blessing on them, and then watched them fly away to their places of ministry.

This month, the Palacios (p. 16) and Massey (p. 40) families are turning over new leaves as they transition from field service into new leadership roles within AFM. Also, Daniëlle K. (p. 28) will be wrapping up her work among the Central Thai over the next few months.

As these mission veterans return from the field, other missionaries are eager to launch. The Lawrence and Bridger families are very near to reaching their funding goals, and the Kiwi family is ready to go. They are strengthening their wings of faith as they prepare to migrate to the place of ministry to which God is calling them.

We can see glimpses of divine symmetry in the changes of fall. Please pray for these missionary families in transition.
