Modern Turks are composed of Muslims and Secularists. Many of them have little more than cultural identity with an Islamic worldview. Two predominant traits of the Turkish people are hospitality and close family relations.
Several missionary families have started a work that includes a publishing house and a small church of a about a dozen native SDAs, but there are still over 70 million Turks who need to hear the Good News presented throughout the 487,550 square miles of the country.
